What is a triple-lock, and Why would I need one on my new Security Door? Single lock security doors are standard issue, and they're great. The sense of security and peace of mind that comes from having a locked security door, is the very thing that makes them worthwhile. A single lock door has one locking mechanism, in the centre where the handle is. If an invader was seriously attempting to get through your door, single locks can potentially allow for a crowbar or other implement to prise the door from the frame at either the bottom or the top of the door. No one wants Triple locks doors however, are next level when it comes to securing your home. Triple lock doors have three locking points, in the centre, then another above the handle, and another below the handle.
